Greyed out measurement tool on Edrawings [Unbelievable]

Hi all!
I'm a little bored on a part in reverse engineering, I would like to know a method to have the possibility to access the Measure tool which is grayed out on my 3D part on Edrawing, it's a plate with a lot of holes.
I remember being able to do it at one time by saving the part file, I completely forgot about the Tip!
If it helps, my version of Edrawings is 30.5.0.0019 with Solidworks 2022sp05

Thank you all

In SW, Tools menu, Options, then Export, EDRW and ok to measure:

On the other hand, if the part is already saved in edrawing format and the option has not been checked, you must have the part in SW and export it again with the option to check.
The goal is in some cases to give just the visual without the measure option so as not to reverse engineer precisely, and protect your design!

Hello
Thank you for your answer, I understand the monitoring and security aspect of files and indeed my goal is to recover dimensions on Edrawings files because we have lost the entire design file on Solidworks, it's a real blow for our service...
And I wanted to remedy this misadventure through the forum...

To my knowledge, if the measured option was not checked when exporting to Edrawing, it is impossible to measure or export to a measurable format.

Hello

Normally, Edrawing can export in STL.
It's very ugly but it's reusable in SW with a little processing...

Good luck...

Logically @a.eriaud export stl only if measured checked, at least it seems to me?

Hello
Thanks for this idea, the option save as STL is not visible, a priori they thought of this " flaw ".
Thank you again to all for this research

Error on my part, you have to have checked export STL to then have the option:

Which obviously wasn't the case either.
So unfortunately no solution for me in this case.
