Opening read-only asm assembly files

Hello

For a few days now, assembly files (under Solidworks 2014) only open in read-only mode (so impossible to modify), while they are not used by another user. On the other hand, by opening a plan you can access the assembly in edit mode.

PS: coincidence with the migration of the solidworks license server in 2015, while the product on the workstation is 2014 !!!

Thank you in advance for your help.

Did you try to restart the pc? Is your PC networked (Accessible by other users?)

Otherwise contact your support from your reseller it may be a license problem.

.... I had the same one and I didn't look too long I started a repair via DVD for my solidworks 2014.

And in reality my problem was mainly related to my solidworks explorer which conflicted with the 2015

@ Gerald

I think more of a story of money

I stayed in 2001 and moved on to 2012

So in 10 maybe I'll change? ;-))

given the price of the log and for the minimum effective and efficient real change each time

It's a thousand times too expensive for my usefulness for my taste

I have a friend who stayed with him in 2010 and he's not about to change for another version and yet he's a beast on the log
