French Language Pack for Solidworks 2010

Hello

I'm in the process of making a package of Solidworks 2010 to deploy it on CAD workstations. So I'm looking for the french.msi file in order to integrate the french into my installation.

Thank you.

Hello

On the SolidWorks website, the oldest version available is 2012.

I have the pack for 2011 but not the 2010 one! It's starting to look old!

Maybe someone still has the DVD? If not, I can try to get my hands on it.

Hello

I do have the Solidworks 2010 CD but no "french.msi" on it, unfortunately.

I have several tutorials for the Solidworks command line deployment and they refer to this file that I can't find anywhere.

Thank you anyway.

Logically, the file should be on the DVD. The easiest way to find it is perhaps to do a classic installation.

Or explore the files in the "lang\french" folder with 7zip for example, but it can quickly become complicated.

I must have a 2010 cd in a corner. I look at it when I get home;)

Yes, logically, it should be there but no way to find it.

In the lang\french directory, I only have *.chm help files and 2 DLLs (5 files in all). No "french.msi".

Ok thank you Bart.

Otherwise, I'll put you the link to one of the tutorials I use:
http://help.solidworks.com/2014/English/Installation/install_guide/c_installing_from_admin_image_command_line.htm?id=ad23fa92cd234449b3b034490aaaba23#Pg0

The 2010 version wasn't on floppy disk? :)

And by opening the DLLs with 7zip?

In DLLs, there are only files, no executable.

I looked on the dvd of 2010, I couldn't find a French.msi.

On the other hand on the 2014 it's there, weird

Yes, I just checked on the 2011 and  2012 CDs.

It is there on the 2 but obviously cannot be used on a 2010 version.

So no french.msi in the 2010 version.

I may say something forbidden, but have you tried to download ""illegally"" SolidWorks 2010? You could then recover that famous missing .msi file!

I had Axemble on the phone.

There is no french.msi with the 2010 version. Only *.CAB.
And I imagine that if it's not on an official version, it's even less on a "pirated" version.

I'll have to manage differently to deploy our version of Solidworks.

I'll be testing by the end of the week and I'll keep you informed of the progress for those who are interested.

In any case, thank you all for taking the time to answer me.
