DS has already had this kind of problem. And the must, SW online if everything crashes on the server side you can put yourself on technical unemployment.
It seems that a big bunch of U.S. servers and cloud services have gone down today (Monday, 20_Octobre_2025) ... mainly Amazon AWS servers and therefore cascading...

3D Experience seems to be relatively spared but they had their dark days with OVH not so long ago...
