Hello
I would like to know if it is possible to have the same automatic configuration of smartproperties on 2 pcs in network, I am not talking about the "combo" lists, but the "which is framed on the photo" part.
More precisely if I didn't have it if we modify me or my colleague the "framed" properties, I would like it to apply on the 2 PCs automatically.

If the smartproperies points to a network location, then the 2 computers will have the same thing.

Yes of course it's possible:
Create a directory on the network (your 2 PCs must have access to this directory).
Copy
In the Smarproperties options:
Text files:
For "Location of the text file then set the list of XML files"
Name the file SmartProperties_XmlPathFiles_NOM DE TA SOCIETE.txt
and point to your directory on the network
Xml files:
For "Xml file location for parts"
Name the file SmartProperties_NOM of TA SOCIETE_prt.xml
and point to your directory on the network
For "Location of the Xml file for assemblies"
SmartProperties_NOM OF YOUR SOCIETE_asm.xml
and point to your directory on the network
For "Xml File Location for Drawings"
SmartProperties_NOM OF YOUR SOCIETE_drw.xml
and point to your directory on the network
In addition, all TXT lists must be in this directory.
Do this on all workstations.

Hello
With us, all PCs are networked and smartproperties are the same for everyone.
Simply save the template file of your smartproperties in a network folder and set up all the smartproperties by pointing them to this file.
Available if needed.

I forgot to say that:
If you have already set up your smartproperties on your computer:
Copy (and rename as shown above) the files to your network directory:
SmartProperties_XmlPathFiles.txt
SmartProperties_prt.xml
SmartProperties_Asm.xml
SmartProperties_drw.xml
You can find these files on your workstation under:
C:\Program Files\Axemble\MyCADtools 2013\SmartProperties\Templates\fr
After copying and renaming the files:
Open the SmartProperties_XmlPathFiles.txt file
Put the full address that even to the 3 types of Xml file from your network directory.
I hope I have been clear.
If necessary I can send you sreenshoots or make a tutorial.

@flegendre:+1 for the tutorial
Otherwise the 2 computers must have the same letter for the network directory, because otherwise it poses pb I think.

Hi @ flegendre
yes the solution of your tutorial is nice 100% for
it will allow you to have it available for everyone on the site
@+ ;-)
@flegendre: Actually the files can have any name you want as long as they are ".xml" and you can save them in any folder on the network!!
On the other hand, you have to modify the settings of the smartproperties as indicated in my second attachment!! :)
To answer @emathubert:
Yes indeed you can give any name you want.
But by keeping the same names as the original ones by adding the COMPANY NAME in the file name, I find it easier when setting up each extension.
Example:
If you name the file "SmartProperties_XmlPathFiles_BDM.txt" you can more easily identify the file to replace in the options than if you call it by another name.
For the configuration on each workstation, I seem to have not forgotten.
Thank you to everyone,
I will do it in a little while because it is not possible in the immediate future!

Hello
Once the configuration has been made as described by @flegendre on a computer, you can copy the file DataSettings.xml present at the following location:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Axemble\MyCADtools 2013\SmartProperties
and put it on all the other posts concerned. It includes all the options of SmartProperties.
This way you will be sure that all users use the same options
