Hello
Following analysis and calibration of our bending machine I have determined a bend area to apply for a custom material in SolidWorks, however I can't configure it so that the settings apply every time we bend with this material, when I edit the sheet metal function and click on use the sheet metal settings of the body material it tells me no material is applied to the body.
Hello;
Could you send your folding table? or at least a screenshot of the first few cells of your table...
and also a visual of your 3D would be appreciated with a part of the construction tree (with the visible bodies and the general material).
I suspect a multi-body folding... Am I mistaken?
Kind regards.
I didn't expect that... ![]()
I admit that I have never used the " sheet metal" tab directly in " material ", I was expecting to see a K-factor or bend loss table in Exel format...

… I would have to find out on my side, for now I'm drying, sorry...
Yes, indeed!! ![]()
This tab does not appear on my version (2018 sp4)
It seems that Solidworks is fussy about thickness intervals:

Let's see if it doesn't come from there...
(possibly try to replace your periods with commas, Solidworks and sometimes schizophrenic on decimal separators...)
no, even changing the character it doesn't work, I don't know how to do it, is there a method with template tables or other to put a bend area parameter according to the material selected? I'm on Solidworks2023 SP2
