Hello
The IT manager has just given us her agreement to upgrade to the 2017 SP4 version. We are currently in 2016, do you have to download solidworks 2017 to make the change or do you have to go through the update manager?
Thank you.
Kind regards

Hello
If you have several posts to update, I advise you to download all the files using the "download only" method.
Then you share your files. This avoids telecahrger on each workstation so all your workstations are updated quickly.
Edit: Another tip goes directly to SP4.1
You have to go through the update manager to make the transition. For my part, I decided to keep my 2016 version and add a 2017.
Hello
Personally, I've always had download problems with the update manager.
So I don't get tired anymore , I take a support ticket by asking for a direct download link and that's it.
may the force be with you.
If you wait 2 weeks the SP5 will surely be available;)
