Hi all
A small problem with graphic resolution, I can put in the properties of the document the image quality in high resolution, but nothing helps. I have cylinders that are a succession of planes (see attached image).
What can I do?
thank you for your help

Hello, in the options under the performance tab, you can choose the definition of the cylinders. See here:

It's normal I think your cylinders have a small diameter and that you zoom in
For test tries to put a point on each line I am convinced that you will not succeed
If by chance you succeed, take the scoring tool in the evaluate tab and put aside tests and give the rating
What is the diameter of your parts
Create a line and measure space
then you can also play via high resolution as said @ PL
but if you put yourself in the red SW will be slow very very slow
This is a recurring problem for watchmakers

What is the model of your graphics card?
so it's a QUADRO K2000 which is obviously suitable for this kind of application, then the diameter of the circle is 1750mm, so it's not very small.
I'll look at your links. Thank you
Hello
As @gt22 indicated with his link to the thread, go to Tools/Options/Document Properties/Image Quality tab and turn up the shaded image resolution (to the right). Avoid the red zone if you are loading sets with a lot of parts.

Thank you
I do it for each shot, but each time this setting disappears and you have to put it back on... Can't we freeze it once and for all?
Yes, you need to modify your document templates (sldasm and sldprt). All of your new files will use this setting.
Edit: sorry asmdot and prtdot!

Have you been able to take a dimension via the placement of points on your curves?
yes or no do the test
If you can't take a side or fix a point, it's only visual that changes via wireframe image
(speed of execution)

ah ok Benoit, it's true I didn't think of changing the models....
I do...
