CAD Laptop

Hello

I'm starting my search for a portable workstation to work properly and be able to travel to customers with it. I work under SW2014.

The ideal configuration of course would be an i7 CPU coupled with a Quadro k3100M with a small 120GB SDD...

The problem, the prices are very high for my start of activity and I can't afford to put more than 2000€

In short, I'm looking for good deals even if it means having lower configs (e.g. Quadro k2000)

Do you have any advice like nice sites or others?

For the moment I found him: http://www.amazon.fr/Dell-Precision-Mobile-Workstation-M6800/dp/B00OCFCQRE/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1424381646&sr=1-3&keywords=NVIDIA+Quadro

Thank you for your advice!

Good evening, it's a good configuration/price ratio indeed. After all, if it exists without a touch screen to save in price and potential problems, it's even better!
I couldn't find anything better for this price.

See to speak with Bart, who had problems with his K3100:

Following the announcement of the 8760 w from hp on eBay

nothing prevents you from inflating the ram and putting down an Ssd and taking an extra large capacity battery

and also buy a docking station for the connection with your landline and these accessories for your home

It's a great pro PC for CAD, it's strong, it works and proves it

then it's up to you to see

I work with an hp Zbook 17, it's an i5, but very powerful.

The configuration is very acceptable and suits me perfectly!

Hello

If having a second-hand portable workstation doesn't cause you a PB.

Look at this site

I ordered my mobile phone and my personal dock there.

Edit: The site is really reliable, the tests serious and more than complete. I have used it many times. If you go to the bottom of the page, you have the benchmarks which I think is the best way to know if a pc runs strong in this area since the tests are done on 3d

Re edit: Stay on the site in English version, the tests are not complete in French ...

The Dell is very good but for SW2014 8 GB it's light and I advise you rather a 512GB SSD disc because 120 you are very quickly limited once the windows l office and the sw install.

I have my machine with a 512 for the system and I only have 120GB left on it after installing only my programs.....

For your information, what takes up the most space on a disc is the mailboxes. So favor a webmail on a mobile station.
