PDM - Change SmartProperties

Hi all

I have just deployed PDM on the various workstations of the BE.
I have a SmartProperties on my workstation set up as I wish.

On the other hand, it is not on my colleagues' stations.
And I don't know where to select the mask to use for the SmartProperties.

If you have a lantern to light me;)

Isn't it a file .XML to be shared on all workstations ? preferably on a networked server and that it is read-only (so as not to be modified)

Yes, you have the possibility to share your config. To do this, you must do:

  • Create your config, which you have already done.
  • In SW, you launch the smartproperty -> Settings -> in the window choose the Settings tab -> then in the list on the left click on 'Location of options'. there he gives you a way.
  • With File Explorer you go to this folder. You copy all the .xml files and you copy them in a folder common to all computers on the network.
  • You go back to 'Location of options' and change the path with my common path.
  • you restart SW and it will take the same config for all.
  • Be careful, if someone changes something, it changes for everyone.

Thank you for your answers,
It put me on the trail of something that had been forgotten.

We had set up a wizard file to copy the myCADtools parameters
Allowing you to copy everything, paths for the Smart, the meters...
