PDM Office to PDF: Failed .xls (2003) to PDF Conversion

Hello

I created a PDM Office to PDF task to convert an Excel file (2003 .xls format). This task ended up failing with:

  • Error message: The document does not meet the conditions of a given category.
  • Error Code: E_EDM_NO_DOCTYPE (0x08004025C)

This same file I save it in .xlsx format in the same place in the vault and I run the exact same task that it works.

By chance I tried with a Word file (.doc and .docx) and only the docx works.

Do you know if this Office to PDF task is compatible for Office 2003 documents?
Do you have an idea for doing this conversion differently? (another task, modification of the script...)

No problem on my side on PDM 2023 with .doc files that date back to 2003.

I looked in detail at the script, it manages 2003 at least.

Thank you for the feedback.
An internal security setting in my company prevents saving in .xls format (even manually). The only solution found is to print the Excel file as a PDF. I'm trying to modify the script in vain for the moment (replace ExportAs with the PrintOut)
