Customize the Form Editor - SolidWorks

Hello

In the custom properties of my part model, I've added several properties.

When I use the Property Form Editor, in the list of properties, I only have the properties that SolidWorks offers by default.

The properties I added to my template don't appear (see image)

How can I customize the Form Editor so that by default, I have the properties I added in addition?

Damn, I managed to do it without really knowing why (see image where you can see my custom properties)

Maybe we should close and open SolidWorks?

I'm going to do some tests

Hi @ Alain

if you create new functions in the editor

they have to take them into account

so once validated, you just have to open again for the consideration to be effective

I find it normal , don't you?

Hello alain, I know that for the location of the files (in options)

You EITHER HAVE ONLY ONE PATH, otherwise solidworks will actually take the path by default

formulaire_de_propriete.jpg

Personally, I have a special folder in Mes_documents where I store all the SolidWorks settings. This allows me to manage multiple versions of SolidWorks (2011 to 2014) without too many problems.

Of course, I store my personal models, my basemaps, my blocks, ... and also my properties as well as the records of several property forms (in the same folder as properties, otherwise, it doesn't work). Note that the "propriétés.txt"  file must not be renamed for SolidWorks to detect it.
