Can we change the plan of a sketch without redoing the sketch?

Hello everyone,

Not having been on the forum this year, I first of all wish you all the best and good creations for 2019.

My problem for which I have not found the solution. I created a part with sketches that of course refer to a plane each time for  the sketch in question and when modifying my part model, if I change a face that was used as a reference for a sketch (face offset in depth for example),  I have an error that is generated by the sketch whose plane I have shifted. Until now I was redoing the sketch  in the new plane because I didn't find a function (or at least I didn't find how to reassign the sketch to the new plane that I only shifted). As it happens to me every time I do this manipulation, could you please tell me if there is a way to reassign a reference plane to a sketch in case this plane has been modified (I'm under SLW 2014)

Thank you in advance, Sincerely

Master

Hello

Yes, absolutely, it is possible. Just right-click on the sketch in the creation tree and that's the 2nd function.

It took me a while to find this position at the time.
