Can we link several parts to an assembly?

Let me explain

for example I create a crosspiece (DRT) and a crosspiece (MAB) with different lengths.

I insert them both in an assembly to add the trunnions which allows me to have 1 assembly with all the crossbars, which is more practical for creating beds.

My question is: can they be linked, i.e. is it possible that when I create a crosspiece (in the MAB crosspiece part) it is automatically created in the assembly.

A priori, I would say yes.
In the "external references" section of the system options, you must enable the option to allow multiple contexts for parts

In fact my goal is to gather all the crosspieces together in an assembly so that I don't have to look for them 1 by one in the pdm.

So I created for the moment 2 different crosspieces that I put in an assembly (see photo 1) and my question is "is it possible to link a part to an assembly" so that when I create a crosswise it is automatically generated in the assembly.
