Can we modify a plan received with a "LESS" surface??
importee.bmp
Good evening
If you want to edit a 3D with an imported body, you can try using the FeatureWorks (right-click on the "Imported1" function, if it doesn't appear go to the Customize menu at the very bottom).
This allows you to recreate a tree, but it has its limits, it all depends on the complexity of the volumes.
Otherwise, you can also use all the functions that can be found in the "Direct Edit" tab of the Order Manager (if it does not appear, follow this link http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/CommandManager.htm the "To add a custom tab to the Order Manager" section). This will allow you to move, translate, delete,... faces. These commands are also accessible through Insert/Faces.
If you have a 2D plane attached to this part, with the 1st solution you will have to patch the dimensions, while with the second, if you just move the entities, the dimensions will follow.
What changes should be made to the file exactly?
Hello
It all depends on the surface to be modified, and what your surface skills are.
It is possible to remove one face to rebuild it, or even several, and it is not a good thing to drink either, but a minimum of pre-requisites is necessary in this area to obtain a coherent result.
I'm taking up @fthomas's message, what are the changes on this file?
If the need is only on the plan by keeping the part (e.g. change of dimensioning) the modification is done without problems on the drawing only.
If the part itself needs to be modified, the easiest way (depending on the complexity) would be to remake the part. Otherwise my colleagues have answered more precisely on the modification of the documents above.
Has your question been answered?
If so, please close it. If not, tell us what you're missing.
Have a nice day
Thank you for the answers, I don't have Feature works, I made a drawing that I saved in DWG to resume the changes in 2D on Autocad, failing 3D...
