Can we use a face in a library function

Hello

I want to make a library function (for power supply jets (here green)) that take as reference a face (not a sketch) when I smooth out in my library function I select the face but when I do it on a part where I insert my FB it doesn't take it into account. And an error message appears with "Unable to create the library function with the selected references". Is it possible to use a face as a reference or not?

Hello, I think it's possible to use a face as a reference, but you have to orient your sketches in relation to a reference.
You must surely have the problem that your sketch turns around and that the lines cross.

Hello

It is not the faces that are the problem but the sketch point.

Your references are as follows:

The first side is well selected.

Thank you Aliende,

But I still don't see how to make my smoothing function work in library function. What reference or what type of reference I need to use for my smoothing to work. I want to use only one face and one point or axis.

Good evening

I think it's the smoothing function that is the problem.

I'm trying to make a library function based on a very simple Smoothing and every time I want to put it in a room, I get the same message:

Thank you I have tried everything so I think it is not possible....

In the SolidWorks Help on Library Functions, there is no indication that it is not possible to put a complex feature such as Smoothing or Scan in a Library. I keep watching.

That's also what I had seen. Even by absorbing as much function as possible and simplifying the references, I can't do it. The same error message appears.
