Can a plan format be linked to a print format?

Hello

As said in the title, I would like to be able to link my drawing formats to my print formats.

The goal is to no longer have to adjust all the print parameters for each shot.

Thank you in advance.

I would have said in principle that if in your models you configure your print format it should be saved. (But this to check)

Because our operation is as follows: One drawing model per format, A4, A3, etc.

And for some time now, I've been creating a macro for printing that automatically detects the size of the background plan to fit A4, A3, etc. (In case we have several sheets with different formats)

Hello

KVuilleumier is right, you have to prepare the print settings for each plan model before saving them. However, for previous plans, updated parameters will not be taken into account.

Hello

otherwise you print then layout and use the settings of this document and scale 100% it should work like its... At home it works, no need to choose A4 or A3 horizontal or vertical. .

Hello

That's indeed what I did, I set the plan templates according to the desired print format and the printer in question (because we have a plotter for A0,A1,A2 and a printer for A3,A4).

The problem arises for old plans that do not follow.

KVuilleumier do you have the possibility to send us your macro that detects the shots?

That should solve the problem of the old plans, right?

Hello, if you have the MyCad tool, use power print or easy print!

Hello

For old plans you can save them in PDF which automatically detects the format.

The fastest is via a Marco which registers and opens the PDF in the process, then you just have to click on the print button.

personally that's what I do, it avoids printing an A3 landscape plan on an A4 portrait sheet :-).
