I'm in 2015 version.
The elbows and tubes are set up well, because the routing works.
If I create a routing in 6I, it works. If I create a WI route, it works. But if I want to transform a 6I routing into a WI, there is no update.

so in my opinion
The routing points are not the same as well as your connection points
according to your material properties
If they were identical nothing could prevent you from changing a 6L elbow into a WI for example
@+ ;-))
Question why do you have symmetries in the 2 elbows with hidden bosses?
so x routing points and connection

it's to draw my right part of the WI elbow.
and your right parts are so long with this type of radius?
your story sounds quite weird ;-(

Yes, it's to allow orbital welding without adding material. C common in the pharmaceutical industry

Well all you have to do is type a library of these types of products
No choice
but once done everything will go by itself
Good luck

Here is the answer from the hotline, so it's a bug.
During our phone conversation, I told you that it is a bug referenced under the SPR number # 875277: "Edit route - Route Segment Properties - Bends - Elbows - Bend radius is wrong when the configuration is changed " to which you have been attached.
The workaround is to remove the existing bend and use the Edit Routing - Routing Segment Properties -> "Ask to Choose" option to change the bend configuration.
