Part inserted into a part

Hi all

I am working on a fairly simple multibody part composed of a mechanically welded element and 2 other parts inserted in my part.

When I modify the native file of one of the inserted parts (DN 300 or matte in my example) this is not reflected in my multibody part.

How do you make this room dynamic?

Thank you

Hello

ctrl+q

Otherwise on the modified part right click then "edit in context" then save closed.

See if on your inserted parts

The links are not broken with their original parts

do you have the suffix ->? on your DN300 and matte parts

The ->? suffix means that the reference is out of context. The feature is not resolved or is not up to date. To resolve and update the feature, open the assembly that contains the update path.

There's just one thing I don't understand!

The links are not really broken since I can open my parent room from the child room.
I edited the piece in context, recorded and then closed it and then reconstructed... but my children's play doesn't update...

In my case it's the length of the "matte flange" that should go from 110mm to 120mm.

do not put "None"

Choose another option according to your operating preferences.

Have you been careful not to check this case?

Thank you Olivier!

Indeed, after adjusting the system settings, it works perfectly.

I was indeed on "None"
