Hello
I am having a problem with a symmetry of the part. I get this message that appears: "The basic part could not be found"? Do you know how to find her?
Thank you in advance.

Hello
What method did you use to make your symmetry?
Can you share your sldprt part file?
Which version of SW?
Hello @Le_Bidule ,
unfortunately I can't share my 3D (confidential).
I'm working on SW 2020 SP5.0
And it's not me who has the design, I'm taking an old assembly.
Hello;
By editing your component's references (or External References), you should be able to visualize where Solidworks points to... and the Name of the Basic Part...
Kind regards.
Normally the name of the original part follows the symmetry (visible in the FeatureManager). And by doing File/Search for references, what does it look like?
In fact I think I know why I'm having this problem: I renamed the part and now the symmetry doesn't find its reference part!
Hello
In this case follows the principle of @MacLane, you click on reference and you go back to your new reference, and it should find its little ones.
Thank you for your answers, it works, but I don't know who to attribute the "Best answer" to between @Le_Bidule and @Maclane !
Life is just a succession of choices. I don't want you to have to take sleeping pills tonight. Then I will be a good prince.
And @maclane the merit...
Thank you, my good prince!!
Overall, the award of the "Best Answer" badge of honor is only of interest (in my eyes) to be able to close a subject with a satisfactory and positive answer.
Let's say that "for this time" I gladly accept this privilege, and remain indebted to @Le_Bidule for a value of 0.5 pts... Because it's worth it.
Kind regards.
