What I like about challenges is discovering new functions. .and then, I dry completely. So I would need a little help (be careful, the copyright is registered ;) )
I created my shape, all rounded. This forces me to make a lower and upper mold with placement nipples and a chimney for the flow of the plaster. Unlike chocolate bars where a simple "shell" in the open air was enough. I created my joint line, insert drafts on the part.
In the mold itself, I manage to insert the core, recreate the joint line... But on the other hand, the parting line bothers me enormously: it is not complete (as you can see on the attached image).
As much for me, I didn't understand what you didn't understand (there's inception in the air!)
My parting line is the kind of incomplete circle/potato ... which should be complete! It's done automatically by following the joint line (which is well completed for the time being). And I can't understand why the plan doesn't close.
I attach my piece if it helps to see better. It's in Sldw2011, so I think everyone should be able to open it!
In itself, English doesn't bother me. But ... I don't have a sound card! It was obviously deemed useless by my group and I am therefore not entitled to it!
In my opinion, the 2 parts of your fruit paw will be glued at the end. From memory the 2-part fruit legs are made like this, so no need for a complex mold but 2 simple molds.
But we would have to ask confirmation from @Clémentine
Do not hesitate to complete the parting line manually, add an additional surface and then a seam on the existing parting line. This is often the case, automatism cannot do everything, otherwise we would not be here...
Frankly a beginner in the thing ... I stupidly thought that we had no choice and that it was mandatory!
So I could create a surface plane that I like more, decide that it is my parting plane and continue like this without going through the Sldw function? Cool that
In the end, I really can't be good at it. I can't seem to create this damn parting line. So, I made half a fruit paste... which will be easier to put on the display anyway!
