Font not available in SW

Hello

I added a font (standard cursive) which is present in other software (Office, DraftSight, ...) but when I am in a sketch to type a text, this font does not appear in the choices?

I had no problem installing the ttf file, I restarted my station, ... I'm drying!

Regards.

Normally it works the first time... at least by restarting the station as you did.

Which version Windows and SW?

Is this font compatible with SolidWorks?

OpenType or TrueType fonts are required.

it appears in

Control Panel\All Control Panels\Fonts?

Is it available in other applications?

Warning: some fonts are not compatible with the sketch text (font being impossible to extrude it afterwards for example)

The first thing to check is that in solidworks the font exists for standard annotations ... If so, it is because this font is not compatible with the Sketch Text function.

I tried this font (standard cursive) and I have the same effect.

Works on Word and the rest, but invisible on SolidWorks, sketching or annotation.

@Lucas: The font is TrueType.

Test at home?

cursive_standard.ttf

In the end, the font was well installed and present in Windows/Fonts.

It was available in the drawing, and ... in sketch mode. The subtlety is that in the drawing (and all other apps) it appears under its font name (Cursive Standard) while in the sketch it appears under the name of the file present in Fonts (i.e. Standard). You had to know that!

Thank you for your answers.

Regards.
