Flow-based EPDM pop up

Hello

Is it possible to associate a pop-up window with an epdm stream? The parts of my vault have a life, it happens that some become obsolete, so I would like to create an "OBSOLETE" flow which, when I open an ASM from Solid, would trigger a window to warn me each time it sees a coin in this flow...

Thank you in advance for your answers

Julian

Hello

I have no idea if what you want is achievable, but a simple trick is to color the "OBSELETE" pieces with a certain color. For example, in red.

Like this when you open your piece or an assembly containing it, it is visible directly.

Hi, oh yes very good idea!

We must give credit to Caesar....

This tip is not mine (but I think it's good so I share :-)  )

Hi, Thanks for the tip I'm a taker a+

So thank you Caesar! :) I leave the post active in case it has an automatic solution...

By the way, I just realized that it's a "state" and not a "flow" that will trigger the pop up...

Hello

By phasing a PDM Dispacth that would trigger on a state of the document, it is possible to display a message.

@Coyote : Unable to trigger a message in SW using dispatch when opening a file. On the other hand, with an api that runs in the background it's doable, but requires that SW be launched with this routine that runs constantly.

@Coyote @Cyril.f indeed no interaction with solid for dispatch actions. As for the api in the background, I'm afraid that it will weigh down the system and mine is already sluggish...

I like the solution of the color, it's simple and at least it jumps out at you OO

Re

Ha yes I didn't understand that you wanted the message when opening the fchier, but at the extraction we could!

Hello, I'm interested in the technique of applying a specific color to a part or assembly if it is obsolete.

Could you tell me how you achieve this. Thank you.
