For this piece of revolution, indeed it works as it is.
But this is not really the case for the products that I have to deal with regularly.

I looked at this 2nd example. Indeed, for this case, solidworks molding tools are the best solution as suggested by @Cyril.f . Especially since its parting plan seems to have already been defined.
I see if I have time to deal with this example.
It seems that, in your trade, the method must be adapted according to the case: the molding tools will be able to overcome all the parts, but are for simpler cases unnecessarily tedious to implement.
Another tip by the way to remove interior shapes that are annoying for the imprint function: the remove face function is very useful!!
