I am in the process of simulating the flow of fluid inside an exchanger (rectangular box in which there is a tubular beam, there are also baffles to increase the turbulence in the heat exchange) under Flow simulation SOLIDWORKS,. In fact it's the first time I've used the software and I've encountered some problems. Before even starting the calculation or refining my mesh, I have a problem is that when I want to apply my conditions to the limits (inflow rate, pressure out) it takes a lot of time and sometimes it crashes .I'd like to know the cause and how to remidier?
Thank you for your quick answer. It's solidworks 2015.So here is the system I'm working on.It's a heat recovery system from fumées.il it's a counter-current flow the fumes enter from the bottom (volume flow), pass through the tubes and exit from the top (at atmospheric pressure). and the air enters (volume flow) from the side passes into the chamber and exits on both sides (two outlets) at the ATM press. As I told you I applied the boundary conditions but it cost me a lot of time.I started the calculation and the calculation is in progress, It takes me a lot of time too. I can't manage the different parameters as long as it's really new to me. For the moment I have only used a coarse mesh
