Why doesn't the iso appear in the Thread function? while it is visible on all other functions

I may have tried to change the location of the files  in "thread profile" but it doesn't change anything : @

Hello,

Is it in the MEP or in the room, a screen print would be good to better understand.

The problem is in the room.

Thanks gt22, however I have already read this page and my problem remains.

It's rather urgent! The problem may be with the files on my hard drive...

This is the function that generates a "true" volume thread (new for 2016).

I'll try to save the settings and then reset them to find the original path (at home, I found this in the location of the thread files/profiles: C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS 2017\thread profiles).

What is surprising is that there is not much choice:

The question (and explanation) has already been dealt with here:

https://www.lynkoa.com/forum/autocad/ref-manquante-pour-ajout-taraudage-dans-toolbox

The representation by this function is only a simplified representation.

and yes no link with the "Drilling Wizard" database!

Exactly stefbeno! I have the same choice of thread type. What intrigues me is that this is not the case for my colleagues...

Thank you all:)

Yes I had skipped this communication thread

thank you @ Olivier

it was Me who had posted the question

And it's true that this new function doesn't bring much more than the visual

since it is impossible to create the slightest contact constraint of the nets

I stupidly thought I could play on a spring compression

Result of the smoke and mirrors

@GT22: it's useful for 3D printing (despite the warning when launching the function)

@ludovic.zanco : If you don't have the same choices:
- compare the path;
- try to copy the file (by saving yours in the past).

Your colleagues must have a custom file.

My problem is solved.

My Solidworks data file was outdated due to an earlier version of Solidworks.

Thank you all for your availability and spontaneity!
