Hello
I just posted my model for the visiativ contest. Only this model is made up of three pieces, two of which are rotating, one being in the other.
For the contest you must provide an STL file from the native SW file
When from the ASM I ask for the conversion, yes rather a backup in STL so SW creates three files for me. This means that the 3D printer will make me three separate parts and therefore I will never be able to do any editing.
How do you have a single STL file that will produce a part directly assembled during 3D printing?
I'm in the 2018 version

Hello
What if you save your ASM as a part and then open the part and export STL?
may the force be with you.

of ACC I understood
Sometimes I'm a ball and chain not to think about ASM in PART (a function I discovered recently by reading the different posts)
I'm looking at it and keeping you informed THANK YOU

Successful conversion operation on the other hand I have no idea if the 3D printer will succeed in making the part.
I'm attaching the part if you can tell me if I did the manip well!
We'll see if I find someone who has a 3D printer
In any case thank you, you're fortich'

A quick follow-up question
I didn't do any function recognition between the ASM ==> PART transformation and the STL format recording.
I guess it's inconsequential!
Who can confirm me please?
Hi Zozo_mp
Function recognition is done when a part is opened.

joke: I hope that in the ASM, there are double-coaxial, and other over-coincident (instead of parallel...)
Hello Zozo_mp,
For 3D printing, there is https://www.sculpteo.com/fr/, I tested and I was not disappointed, on the price side, obviously if you know someone, it's better, I don't really have a comparison so ...., you can make a direct quote online.
Kind regards
