Hi all
I notice a recurring problem in my nomenclatures of mechanically welded assemblies.
Indeed, when I create a tabulated BOM with a detailed list of welded parts, I would very much like to use the "combine identical components" option, so that I don't have different article numbers for the same body that is in several different parts.
Is anyone getting there?
This question interests me too!
Unfortunately I have no solution to bring but just a possible complement: http://help.solidworks.com/2018/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_Bill_of_Materials_Structure.htm?verRedirect=1
My problem is that the "combine identical components" option does not appear even with the above approach
Anyone have any advice?
Hi all
I have submitted my issue to Technical Support, and the response is as follows:
"The Publisher has been able to reproduce the behavior observed on the explosion of your BOM in order to be able to combine identical components.
A correction request has been opened with the SolidWorks R&D department under the number
SPR 1126166 – 'BOM – Indented – Detailed cut list – the option 'Combine Identical Components' does not work, if 'BOM' is dissolved' "
All we have to do is wait for an update...
