Problem with custom properties

Hello everyone,

There you go, I'm creating a title block to standardize all my drawings. Of course, I create custom properties at the same time with the help of the custom property editor so that I can use them for each new part and that each piece of information can then be integrated into my cartridge for each drawing.

But here's the thing, after creating my custom properties and then saving it in the right folder, I open it in the dialog box (custom properties) on the right of the screen and it displays this error message: see attachment .

After trying many things, even recreating a file etc it tells me that my file has a syntax problem...

There you go, I hope you could help me find the solution.

Thank you for your future answers.

Hello

A very simple thing why do you have a point after PRTPRP

The point makes it believe that there is a file extension which is not possible since you have  TOTOTITI. PRTPRP

Kind regards

Otherwise, look at what .PL     says http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/cao/proprietes-personnalisees-editeur-de-formulaire-solidworks

Yes, it's true, it's a small detail that had caught my attention too, but it's only a punctuation to finish the error sentence.  See attachment . The file is written correctly in its original directory (another file with which I also tried).

Before publishing this message, I had come across this link, unfortunately it does not deal with the same error. But thanks to this comment, I have a better understanding of the types of extensions linked to these files.

Thank you

Kind regards

Hello

You have the path specified in the system options:

Kind regards

Hello

Why not create your custom properties in the room. It would be much simpler.

Here is a little tutorial on how to do it

And trying to rename the property form file with a name other than "template"??

Ah, I hadn't seen that another name was tried...

PS: I also sometimes make this kind of mistake, lol...

And if not, by Reloading the property file?

CAD: Show the Personal Properties tab... in the right-wing panel

then click on the icon at the bottom right (properties icon with the hand)

then select "none"

then exit the tab (choose the Home or Library icon..)

then re-enter the personal properties tab... and choose the right one from the drop-down menu (at the top)

Given the message, Sw finds the file but there is a problem inside: have you "tinkered" with it with a text editor?

Can you give us your file?

precisely, the file "PRT" pointed to "Template"

if the form file has been renamed, you have to repoint the right file to the PRT or DOT... (hence the idea of Recharging it)

But yes, with the form file, we may find something...
