Problem with the concentration of edges of the "Combine" function

Hello

Have you ever had a problem like this??? As soon as I do the combination of the 2 bodies, I have a concentration of edges that merge at a point...!

Desired result before combination:

Problem after combination:

2 hours trying to solve but I can't do it...
Sorry, for privacy reasons, I can't add the 3D part.
FYI, I'm on SW 2022 SP5.0

Thank you for your help, great community! :grinning:

Hello
I don't remember having this kind of problems, but in terms of the body fusion settings you selected what?

Hi Cyril,

Let's just say that I don't have much choice.

After discussing with someone from my design office it may come from the hull function...

Hello
I think you've already tested "Common".
There may still be a solution depending on your models.
If the second volume is the one that protrudes from the flat face, you can extract the flat surface, intersect the model using that surface, and then merge the two volumes.

Hello
I tested common and it's worse...
I've already tried to extract the faces, recut etc... But the problem is the same when merging.
I have a lead, and that is to work on my holidays before doing the hull. I'll keep you informed.
Thank you for your help in any case

Problem solved! I have removed the external leaves which have removed the internal leaves formerly created by the hull function.
I was able to do the combination of the 2 bodies, then I added the interior and exterior leaves and no problem.
Thank you @Cyril.f for your help :v:
