Hello
I have a problem when creating a piece, in fact, neither with Bossage frontière or smoothed can I get my volume. My guide curves don't want to be selected. Could you please help me?
Thank you

Hello
You can't select the guide curves because they are in construction lines
Hello
No, I don't think it comes from here because I had them in "full" before and it didn't work...
One or more images of the problem would be +
speaking we don't all have the same version of the log
You have to create each sketch independent of each other and not in construction line
and that the profiles are indeed coinciding with the guide curves
Also be careful with the turn too tight (small)

Hello@Jules Chollet_1
In each sketch defining the guide curves, the "central" segment must be removed so as to have a guide curve on the left and a guide curve on the right. This will make a total of 9 guide curves.
The selection of guide curves is done by using the SelectionManager to retain only one side of the sketch.
Note that the volume is only generated after selecting the two opposite guide curves of the sketch3.
The result:
Hello everyone, thank you for your help!
I managed to create the volume as shown in the last answer, however a problem appeared: the lines were not created in a homogeneous way. Indeed, one of the guidelines does not go through all the summits and deviates for no reason. I take screenshots, it will be more telling.
Thank you!
For your last problem:
You have to have exactly the same number of points on your different sketches if you don't want to be annoyed.
Split lines/lines into 2 if needed
Hello, I'm coming back to you because I have to make another piece and I can't get by with the volume functions, yet my curves are clean... If you can help me it would be nice:)
Thank you
Hello @Jules Chollet1,
After a few tries, I couldn't find a procedure to create the volume directly from the various sketches, as SolidWorks returns an error message on each attempt.
On the other hand, I was able to achieve the expected result by using surface functions, then sewing these surfaces with the generation of the interior volume.
The result is attached.
Hello m.blt,
Thank you very much for your help!
Have a nice day
Jules
Sweeping can work very well on this part IF you don't take complete sections but half sections: just pass half of the sketch on the construction line and recreate sketches for those you have passed on the construction line.
At worst of worst, make the room in 2x: the right side then the left side. (section plane: plane parallel to top plane passing through the profile sketch which is parallel to this plane: the only one that is perpendicular to the others)
