Problem displaying tooltips when hovered with the cursor

Hello

In several places in the menus no tooltip is displayed when I hover my cursor over it, it's annoying because I waste time identifying icons and other functions. Can anyone help me solve this problem in Solidworks 2014?

Hello 

 

Try unchecking and unchecking the option to display tooltips.

Otherwise maybe a problem with the graphics drivers. A small update or reinstallation of the drivers should do the trick.

Are the graphics card drivers up to date? See here:

Thank you for your advice.

I first unchecked the box and then restarted my computer: it didn't work.

I then updated the driver of my graphics card and restarted the computer: still nothing.

I noticed however that the display of the icon labels is displayed at the bottom left instead of next to the cursor.

Well I would have preferred the cursor side but the bottom of the screen will do.

Have you tried to reset the toolbars to default?

If not, is it a multi-screen environment? Position problems due to another screen?
