Snapping problem, line selection. (SW2014)

Hello 

I take the liberty of contacting the forum because I have a problem with my CAD installation (Solidworks 2014).

I have a magnetization problem, I don't know if the term is good but let me explain:

When I create, for example, a sketch and I want to put a dimension by selecting an edge, I have to click very precisely on the edge, it doesn't come out when my mouse approaches.

Usually with other 3D software, when you try to select edges or others, they stand out to facilitate the selection.

I wonder if a parameter has not been unchecked in my interface.

I know there's a "Selection Filter" toolbar but I don't want to change the filters every time I want to select something. And I don't think that's what everyone uses...

Hello, clicking on the first or second button on the selection filter bar disables all filters, doesn't it solve the problem?

Hello, I don't have any of the filters selected. And my problem is still there.

 

After I don't know if I'm looking for a function that doesn't exist, being used to other software, I was wondering if this function wasn't disabled for me. Maybe this "function" doesn't exist on solidworks.

The magnetization can be deactivated, and this may be what happened.

  • Tools> Relationships> Instant magnetization.

Is it normal that all options are "abscent"? 

My problem is still present.

.PL: Resetting settings doesn't help.

Wouldn't the problem come from the "attracted only when the grid is displayed" box at the bottom of the first screen print that should be unchecked?

Try checking: "Dynamic Graph View Highlight".

The screenshot of "Sketch" is missing from the options.
