Problem inserting weld seam drawing

Hi everyone,

I want to make a drawing of an assembly including a mechanically welded part, in which I have inserted welds (with mechanically welded function) and when I make my drawing of this assembly, only the welds of the assembly appear, no way to make the welds of my part file appear.

I'm on Solidworks 2014 (SP4.0 I think)

It's not easy to explain my problem well, I hope I've been precise enough. A student who is in a state of dick for his project.

Thank you for your answers.

Hello

If you do insert==> objects of the model and you select Solder aspect and then you validate...

AC COBRA 427,

Thank you for your answer, that's what I do, but it only shows me the cords that are in the assembly, not the ones in my room

Ok and this solder is displayed in the MEP of the room??

In fact I have several welds I have welds in my assembly and in my mechanically welded part, and on the drawing I only see the one of the assembly. And I wish I could have them all posted.

I just tried to make a drawing with my part alone and the welds appear...

Can you put your asm with the parts as well as the MEP in a Zip file piur tester???

Thank you for the attention you pay to my problem I put my file in attachment, the drawing is one that I did like that but it carries the same problem

Have you seen the problem I'm having?

I have seen but have not achieved anything for the moment... But I keep looking...

In any case thank you very much, I spent my evening last night looking and I resigned myself to asking for help

No way to get there... But what seems weird to me is that when I take a view of the model and I bring the frame back to the MEP, the poster welds when they are inserted?!?

To superimpose 2 views with a view of the part and one of the assembly I don't see ...

There is yet another solution that will work; which would be to redo the welds in the assembly... But I don't find it very logical that the welds of the part are not displayed in the MEP of the assembly?!

@ Cobra / pierrejean96

on older versions

The welds were created via a sweeping operation

which were named to be sure that they would follow

and created weld files

Yes, until 2011 there was a welding function that created parts... But they abandoned the principle and it's a real shame...

I tried to insert them directly into the assembly but it doesn't work... To insert them in the assembly it must be 2 different parts or else I put it badly. I resigned myself to putting them back one by one on the drawing, what works is really bad...
