Personally, I make my sketch of the shape of the tube, after a scan with the section to give material to the tube. Then a single removal of material (small groove type like in your photo) then a repetition of this removal driven by the first sketch drawn at the desired step!
Hello
No ability to create flexible parts in SolidWorks:
You must either:
- make an assembly (but it's complicated)
- make a room with a sweep

The best thing to do is to follow this tutorial;)
You can adapt it to any shape.
Good luck!

Attached is a picture of what you want to make basically!
Thank you for answering so quickly, but wouldn't there be a solution with the spline
An example! The method you use is "barbaric", it's better to use repetition functions! Otherwise your PC will give up quickly!! :)
Personally, with the tutorial I gave you, I can make any "propeller" in any curve.
After that, you just have to set it up.
That's what I represented, except that it's a thread that winds up on a spiral.

Hello
We must indeed use the repetition on a curve by adding to the example provided by @David be3 an equation calculating the number of repetitions as a function of the length of the curve.
Kind regards
Hello
Be careful with too many repetitions the reconstruction time becomes very long, moreover it seems to me that we are limited to 1000 occurrences.
Doing a sweep and adding texture would be simpler and more economical in reconstruction time.
Hello
I hadn't thought about the texture! Good idea and good track @y.pacquelet!
Kind regards
For my part, this type of component is modeled as follows:
A thin extrusion scan to finalize the whole thing.
Remember to assign a material for the weight (it doesn't cost much)
I add configurations for each position of the duct...... (that's why the sketch is fully dimensioned).
Hello
For your problem, I'll use a virtual component (which can remain flexible) in your assembly.
For the sheath slots, I agree with the general opinion, go through a thread-style texture.
In the example below, I made 2 ends of the duct, then in the assembly, I created a virtual component linked to the assembly to the dimensions of the duct.
The sheath remains flexible in curvature and length (a fixed end and a free end, all tangent to the ends)
you have to rebuild the mobile end of the sheath every time you move
If you want to route the sheath, add points on the spline.
Hoping I helped.
Have a nice day
straight or angled?
