Rendering issue

Hello

I have a problem that persists and despite trying to set up settings I can't find solutions!

My problem is the following: the color of my piece is different from one side to the other! (see attached image).

Does anyone have a solution or is it normal?

Thank you for your answers.

Kind regards.

Fred

Hello Fred,

If you turn your piece, is the "dark" side always the same? If yes, it's about light/shadow settings .
If your part is made with symmetry, sometimes there are bugs with the colors, especially when you change the color of the faces after creating the symmetry function.

Hello Pierre,

This problem only appears when the part is in front view!

Hello

It probably comes from the lighting. This is the shaded side of the room. To fix two solutions:

  1. Disable directional spotlights + increase ambient intensity.
  2. add a directional spot on the dark side (illuminating from right to left)

Hello,

Maybe the light bulb of a spot that has failed. A little humor with these difficult times. I actually think like my colleagues that it's a problem of light/shading adjustment and that you just have to activate a spotlight on the other side or deactivate the one that is active.
