Solidworks Drawing Printing Problem

Hello

I have a problem when I want to print a plan the SOLIDWORKS software does not recognize the printer

Hello

I think it has nothing to do with the printer because Solidworks hands over to Windows for printing.
It smells like a bug of another nature for SolidWorks to mess up like that (with this type of message).

Does the PB exist on all MEP files or only this one????

Which version of SW are you in???

Can you post your file so we can test the print?

Kind regards

Hello

Is it a piece you designed? Is it an IFC  IGES import step ???

May the force be with you

It's a piece that I designed

The software does not want to recognize the printer

I wanted to know if you have a number to contact them

Hello Yohan

Your file is not usable because you did not attach the part file with it.

You have to use the pack and go function which will make a package of all the necessary information.

That said, I was able to print the cartridge without SW crashing.
Resend the files and I'll re-test.

Tell us more!
Try to print on one of your colleagues' posts.
Are you on a network post or on an individual post?
Do you use PDM and/or a server, etc.... etc

About the telephone number???? Is your company under maintenance? If so, you have the right to the Hotline which can either tell you what to do or take control remotely (if your computer security allows it, which would surprise me given the name of your Company  ;-)     )

Kind regards

Hello

Indeed, we should know if this is a problem on all levels and all positions,

-> Open your plan, go to File > Pack and go make a pack and go and save it on your desktop (This will allow you to copy your plan and its room locally, indeed a plan without its room will open empty and if you only move them, the links will be lost) > Try from these files to possibly question the network.

IF yes:

-Try with a default SOLIDORKS drawing to possibly question a corrupted basesheet template,

If no:

-Hide all the views of your room to see if any of the views OR the room would be a problem,

If this only happens on your workstation:

Type "Rx SOLIDWORKS RX 20XX" in your start menu and launch the utility, click on the last option "Launch SOLIDWORKS.... under "Tools Option" and tried it in this new session to question corrupted options,

If nothing is satisfactory, I would recommend a repair of the SOLIDWORKS installation,

I attach the link to the Lynkoa help on ticket entry: https://help.visiativ.com/mycadservices/fr/SupportVISIATIV.html

Have a nice day
