Unit problem when converting 3D solidworks file (.part) to 2D (.dxf) with myCADtools BatchConverter tool

Hello
I commonly use the BatchConverter tool from myCADtools to bulk convert 3D files (. SLDPRT) as a 2D file (.dxf).

Usually, everything works fine, but today, I have a problem: the converted files change units when I open them in Draftsight.

How to adjust the unity of the files when converting 3D solidworks (.part) to 2D (.dxf) files with BatchConverter from myCADtools?

This has been fixed since solidworks, batchconverter uses SW.
So from an MEP, Tools, Options...,Export, DXF/DWG, 1:1 output scale to Activate:

On the other hand, if the scale of your view does not respect that of the sheet = problem (which may be the case on your new export-> to check)

thanks, I found the same settings in the BatchConverter options... but it doesn't change anything :frowning:

Open one of the drawings, click on the views and look to the left if the scale of the view is on:

If so, look in the Batchconverter options (there are some in the end, unlike my 1st post!):

Yes, I found this menu following your 1st post.
I work on 3D files and not drawings.

Hello

Be careful, the DXF format does not contain units, just values!
A segment of length 2 can be interpreted as 2mm, 2m, 2 inches...
It depends much more on the software that opens the DXF than on the one who created it!

If I were you, I'd look more for Draftsight than for BatchConverter.
Default unit when opened... I don't know it, vaguely used several years ago...

On the other hand, I have used BatchConverter a lot and I have never had this problem.

Kind regards.

It's the same menu but from BatchConverter. You then follow the framed windows in order (this may change something).
What is the 1/1000 scale ratio? (m/mm conversion) or another scale?

x10
Example: 500mm becomes 5000mm

Since Sw are your document units (assembly to be exported) the same as usual?

For me Drafsight doesn't take into account the scale since you're always supposed to draw at a scale of 1:1 in the model.
Edit: to see if it comes from document you can also export it in step, reimport it and then export it in dxf if the scale is good it probably comes from your model otherwise it comes from the conversion.
