I recently learned that Edrawing Pro can save its files in HTML format in order to view them in a web browser.
It's cool, if only it worked... Each time I try it I get an error message (see screenshot).
I do: File->Save as> I select HTML and poof, error. I searched through the options, but found nothing.
I also tried the HTM format, it's a disaster. Impossible to open it, message saying that you need IE10 or higher, tested with Edge, Firefox, IE11: nada.
If anyone has the solution, I'm all for it.
P.S: trying to write the file on my desktop and I'm an administrator.
I'm using Edrawing 2021 sp2 and these are Edrawing files that I'm trying to pass in HTML.
@d.roger, I hadn't thought to try with SW files, I just did it and ... it doesn't work! I have the same message...
@Rpicard, I know the 3D PDF, but find it a bit practical for consultation and you can't take it aside.
The HTML format is ideal for our needs: document display in the workshop without the need for specific software installed on each workstation (less maintenance) and the possibility of taking measurements if the operator has any doubts.
I also tested the export as an executable file but our anti-virus doesn't make the joke... He doesn't know and blocks everything.
