Hello
I want to do a motion study: in my model, when I move my subset (linear displacement), I have no problem.
But when I go into the motion study tab, I create a linear motor on this subset, no motion.
I don't see why, there is no constraint that blocks it.

Hello
Could we have a picture of the whole thing?
Thank you

Hello
And what is the software?
Because the only tag is "'CAO'!

Hello
A screenshot with the motion study would also be welcome to understand what is not working.

Sorry, it's on Solidworks 2012
Here is an image of my system, it's the subset that has to go up and down, when I'm in the "model", I can move it but in the "Motion study" tab, impossible.

Hello
You can't see well on the view, but where did you define your "slide" link ?

What is the engine configuration? Constant speed? And what value?
Is the engine put on the right part?
Did you do Calculate ?
In fact, there is no motor, it is the operator who raises and lowers the sub-assembly.
I've set my slide function to the stud where the arrow is drawn.
I think I found, when I created my motion tab, there was a constraint that was blocking me in translation. Removing this constraint was not enough because my motion study part was not updated.
I recreated a new movement study and there, it took into account my removed constraint.

I'll be you, I'll create a fixed part on the building
which will function to contain your slide link with your basket holder (replace the operator)
This fixed part can be hidden for the visual afterwards (if necessary)
which will allow you to condition the start and end so up and down as well as the speed
