Hello.
By using the thread (under the drilling wizard), I get a real thread which doesn't suit me, because on my drawing, it is displayed like this: .
Is there a solution to keep it in real life in 3d but that it is displayed like this on the drawing? :
Since I couldn't do it, I went through another threading option in the room
Insertion/Annotation/ Thread Representation.
The problem is that I can't display a note on either the 3d or the MeP, where we see M45 x 1.5 appear....
Here is my info in the thread representation. Strange that no note appears....
To sum up, what matters to me the + is to have this representation in the drawing:
And to be able to make M45 x 1.5 appear for example. Do you have any ideas?
Thank you all for your help

Hello
I'm not sure it's possible but is there much use in keeping it in real display in 3D if not to weigh down the file?
Kind regards

Make 2 configs: one with the actual thread and one for the drawing.

All right. The real rendering allows me an interesting rework of my Keyshot model...
So I will favor the classic display. On the other hand, I can't display the rating corresponding to M45 x 1.5 automatically
To automatically dimension the thread representation, right-click on the circle of the thread (only in the top view) and then insert a symbol. (see attached image)

It also works on the side view (SW2017) by selecting the thread line and then right clicking...

On the 2016 it doesn't work on the side view! Can't wait for the 2017 or rather 2018 now d.roger !

on the side view, it worked with SW2012, 2014 and 2016, for me (or even before, I don't remember).
(But in these cases, I prefer to use "symbol for piercing", the cases where I use "insert symbol" are very rare)

Indeed it also works on the front view... So much for me!
