Hi all
I have an import problem in solidworks (2016): . Original IFC Revit sent by a customer (see attachment).
When I open this file, the assembly is completely unstructured.
I should point out that we also tried with a . SAT and . DWG files, but these files don't even open.
If someone has time to try to open my file to see if they get the same result (or not!) as me, that would be nice.
The client told me that she had made an export in "IFC 2x3 Coordination View 2.0" but I don't know if it is possible to use other parameters on Revit... Any feedback on this subject?
Thank you, have a good day.

Attached is a video capture to illustrate what I get...

Hello
I reproduce the problem, it seems to be related to errors in importing the file,
As soon as an imported file contains surfaces it is surely that it contains errors, very often, this type of import problem produces this type of graphic problem, you have the possibility to make diagnoses of imports of your parts, but in view of the number of errors ... automatic repair will probably not be possible,
The errors are not caused by specific import options but by the SOLIDWORKS volume generation method combined with the geometry of the file
Indeed maybe there are export options on REVIT or other formats more compatible for SW2016
As an attachment a capture of a document with errors,

Thank you for this answer Theo.
Finally, the . SAT also opened (very long...) but with a lot of errors and parasitic surfaces.
