Hello@PLV

I just looked at your model and the first thing is that you haven't converted your solid model to Sheet Metal Work.

But before transforming your model into sheet metal, it is also in your interest to make a cut (by removing material (or rather a separation) otherwise it is not  possible to flatten.

Dd more at the workshop they will be forced to make two pieces (one cylindrical leaning and one  with a shape composed of a circle base and an oblong shaped top  so you might as well make two pieces right away instead of one.

Here is my humble opinion.

Kind regards

The problem is that I did all this and the conversion doesn't work

Hello @PLV30

I don't want to upset you but the template as you posted it is indeed a volume that is not converted at any time (in the creation tree)  into sheet metal so I stand by what I said before.

Another option, post the file you converted to sheet metal so we can see what's wrong.

Kind regards

the conversion doesn't want to work

Here is the file with the cup. I can't convert it into sheet metal

As @ Zozo_mp just said, you have to make one part for the conical part and another for the circular part. It's not possible in one piece, so you have to separate them and then make a notch in the direction of the length, as if you were doing the conversion.

I undo  the header part by myself and the conversion still doesn't work

Hello @PLV30

You  can't even convert to sheet metal because of the way your part is made because there are no wrinkles with your way of doing it (why go through the hull function???)

Also, you will never be able to make your piece in one piece, you have to make two pieces (bis repetita).

We should look at the way our colleague @ac-cobra does things, who has made tutorials on this kind of play. (until recently).

I'm handing over to the specialists of this type of sheet metal because I would have to redo the part to explain, because I don't work that way at all (sorry ;-)  )

Good luck ;-)

Kind regards

Hello PLV30,

The method you use is not very conventional. As OBI WAN points out, you have to go through a few transitions.

Kind regards

Wow!      Thank you!

OBI WAN   You're awesome! yes, if I insist.

I should think more often about making a video posted on youtube, it's even better than text.   ;-)

Kind regards
