Problem, locked room?

Hello everyone, I have drawn a 3mm thick part (plastic part) and I can no longer add bosses (extrusion) or remove material.

Solidworks tells me "reconstruction errors, the operation failed due to geometry". As if any maneuver to modify my part was blocked by solidworks, I can no longer do anything on this part.

Is there indeed a lock to prevent modifying a part, in which case what is the method to unlock? or is the part too complex for solidwors and he doesn't agree to work on it so he displays this panel??

Yet I don't ask him much!!

If you have a solution, I'm all for it! Thank you

Reconstruction mistakes is that he can't do what you ask him to do, show us what you want to achieve

Thanks MaD, here is the file, I just want to add the last sketch  in bossing on the part

Maybe your sketch is open or an unintentionally created stroke is lying around. A picture of what you would like to do would be welcome

Do you want to do an extrusion of your 2 3 mm thick sketches?

Like this:?

Under SW 2016 no problems to make the boss cf Attachment

NB Don't hesitate to create folders in the creation tree to simplify the subsequent modification because you have a lot of functions

yes that's what I want to do

he does it as you show but without merging the result, I want to merge the result!!

I just did a "To the next surface" extrusion. I'm SW 2015.
I don't really understand what you mean by merging?

When you take the extrusion function for example you have a line to check or uncheck: merge the result

Indeed on my psot it is checked. Have you tried to open the room I sent back to you?

So, it's crazy!!

I just opened your file  and I looked at your boss, indeed there was the box checked and when I wanted to close the boss, it refused to do so and it puts the construction error panel back!!

Indeed it's a story to sleep on... Did you try to redo your sketch? Because the problem does not seem to come from the function or even from the part. Maybe that's the plan you use for your sketch?

No worries for me either in 2016

I can't add the slightest thing anymore, on any plan, it puts me the same panel!!

It's painful, I'm wasting time!!

In any case I thank you very much  for your help, it's very nice!

The problem comes from my job surely!

I'll try on another post

Thanks again

Which version of SW do you have? Have you tried using Solidworks Rx to run Solidworks in safe mode ignoring the settings?

I have solidworks 2015

I went to another workstation, it works very well, I save the work and I come back to mine and it doesn't work anymore!!

I'll re-install SW to see

You're welcome. Let us know if the re-installation of SW was successful.

Which Service Pack is right for you?

Before reinstalling try to start your solidworks via Solidworks RX its teviteras a long and tedious resintalation if it's only a matter of parameters
