Workpiece reloading problem in a drawing

Hello

I have a dialog box that appears when I draw that asks me to ...
"The part must be loaded, be able to edit the cell and apply the changes to the model"
Load the yes/no part

But I have the part already open in solidworks, break the link? What for?

@spectrum

In the left frame where you have the choices for the different View you have a green swallow.
Which is used to refresh MEP views in case of model modification.

Wouldn't you have a tiny change in the name of the file concerned.
What I find weird is

Quote: to be able to edit the cell
Which cell are we talking about

Hello;

@spectrum , you should be more precise in your requests, never hesitate to add a screenshot to illustrate your words.

In this specific case, by extrapolating slightly, I imagine that you want to edit a cell of your nomenclature but it sends you back to your error message.

  • Is your MEP (drawing) open in " solved ", same for your 3D component?
  • Also check the references of your MEP: Solidworks Open, click on the file of your drawing, without opening it, and click on " References..."  »

Kind regards.

Hello Maclane,

So thank you for the guide, I didn't know the resolved state, I'll give it a try, otherwise using SMART PROPERTIES (my CAD tool) can generate this problem or is it independent?

Zozo _mp is to update a bill of materials, it happens on a station with SMART PROPERTIES, to define the situation. I'll check the libelled, thank you for the advice.

Have a good day to you.

For me Smartproperties has nothing to do with it and like my colleagues I think more of an unresolved room

You should check that the drawing view is " linked " to your nomenclature.
Right-click on an " empty " area of the view and then property... and check the drop-down menu:

… and no, Smartproperties have nothing to do with it. Unless, perhaps, the cell you want to edit refers to a property that is not present in your 3D.
Logically you should have this type of alert:

Kind regards.

Hello Maclane,

I'm going to do some tests.
Thank you for the information, cordially.
