I already had it under windows 7 so not sure that the problem comes from there!
@gt22 :P be precise, it's not that it's incompatible, it's that SW doesn't guarantee proper operation and doesn't provide after-sales service.
In my opinion, it would be better to stay with W7.
SOLIDWORKS 2015 SP5 and SOLIDWORKS 2016 SP0 software will support Windows 10's 64-bit Pro and Enterprise .
SOLIDWORKS 2014 will not be compatible with Windows 10*
- UPDATE (October 10, 2015): SOLIDWORKS 2016 SPO has been released by Dassault Systèmes and this is compatible with Windows 10.
* The following SolidWorks products are not supported on Windows 10 : SOLIDWORKS 2015 SP4, SOLIDWORKS 2014 SP5, and all other previous versions and service packs. This applies to all products (i.e . eDrawings, Enterprise PDM, SOLIDWORKS Composer, etc.)
I know that officially it's not supported and that I risk bugs. But after 3 uninstalls/installs on Windows 7 the result is the same! So I'm staying at windows 10 and too bad...
If by chance someone manages to solve this problem I'm interested :)
I still have a question... Are you now under reseller insurance? he should be able to help you; after all you have tried....
No, we are not under maintenance because financially we couldn't.
That's why I turn to forums.
