I installed Solidworks 2015 on a laptop with "Windows 10.
At launch, a window opens informing me that the file VBE6EXT. OLB cannot be charged. I should point out that on my desktop PC, also under windows 10, it works without problem.
SolidWorks 2015 is compatible with Windows 10 except for SP5.
In addition, you have to disable internet access by clicking on the top of the window for the installation to go smoothly (Tip given by the Cadware help service)
My problem is solved, for it to work Exel must be installed
Hello I just installed the 2022 SP4 version and now I have this VBE6EXT.olb error. I don't have Microsoft Software on the PC. Does anyone have the same problem? Thank you all for your help.
First of all, welcome to the forum. (just a little note: in principle we don't avoid digging up and instead create our own thread)
That said, can you specify why you say "I don't have Microsoft Software on the PC"
In this case, the file is a Visual Basic thing. My problem is that there are a lot of versions of VB, some of which don't include all the modifications. The hot line fought for 1/4 hour to get me the good previous version of VB.
As you just installed the 2022 /SP4 so you are under maintenance I suggest you ask the hotline to put back the correct version of Visual Basic.
Kind regards
PS: I'm looking on my machine to see if I can find the 2022 compatible version number
So not the MS Office suite? It is essential for SW to function properly, so it should be installed first and foremost. Be careful that it is not a " Cloud " version
