Curve projection

Hello.

I want to make a curve projection on a cylinder. This is to ensure a better grip on a cylindrical handle when digging.

With a single groove it works.

However, if I put several grooves, it's refused.

I need several grooves on top of each other.

How should I practice?

he make a curve by a curve 

So in your basic sketch you can create x curves

then you recreate a sketch via convert the entities you take your first curve 

Projected Curve Tool

and so on repetition sketches via convert the entities 2 curves 

projected curve

and so on
