Hello
In SolidWorks I manage to create a sensor measuring the surface area (simple, complex, multi-faced,...).
On the other hand, I would like to automatically retrieve the value of this measurement or sensor in a property.
Who knows a trick to do this, with a measurement sensor or otherwise?
Thank you in advance

Hello
All you have to do is go to your property summary and add this line (see image) by selecting "Area"

@Bart,
I'm talking about the surface area of one or more surfaces in the middle of my volume or assembly, not the surface area of my room.

Hello, this is not possible with a sensor, you have to add the properties in the custom properties and to display it in the plan you have to read this property to a note.

So as stated in SPR 633058, linking a sensor to a property is not possible. One solution proposed in this message is to install a small add-on:

@Bart,
Yes your image shows the sensor, ok I have it but my question is how to push the value in a property, parametrically not copy and paste.
