Ownership of configurations

Hi all

 

I use the configurations of rooms for the same room with several different materials. The part is the same only the material, mass and ref changes. The problem is that I can't display the properties of all the configurations in my drawing block. SW displays only the properties of the active part in the drawing.

 

Is there a solution to this? Thank you

Indeed, you are not the only one to ask yourself this question.

To retrieve all the properties of a part's configurations (and not just the active one) in a bill of materials, there is a utility that allows it. The SmartBom utility

This is indeed a normal operation, I think that in your case the simplest is to insert the part family in the drawing, for this in the drawing, just do: insert, table, part family and you will have the Excel tabel of your component.

Hello

 

In "Link to Property -> Document in Progress -> File Properties"

 

You have to create the following lines (as an example):

Material1 / Text / SW-Material@@config1@Piece.SLDPRT /

Material2 / Text / SW-Material@@config2@Piece.SLDPRT /

The last column can't make the link but it is done in the background of the plan.

 

Then all you have to do is locate the display of Material1 and Material2 on the background plan.

 

Well it's tedious but it avoids buying a plugin.
